The Fallout of Operation Varsity Blues
On March 12, 2019, Operation Varsity Blues was made public by federal prosecutors, exposing how the rich and powerful influenced admissions decisions at some top American colleges. Jennifer Levitz and Melissa Korn are two Wall Street Journal journalists who followed the scandal from the start, and published the book “Unacceptable: Privilege, Deceit & the Making of the College Admissions Scandal.”
