Communications and Digital Specialist

TAFEF is looking for a Communications and Digital Specialist to join our team and coordinate creative content and copy for TAFEF’s membership and communications channels. We are looking for an energetic and tech-savvy professional to help our team develop innovative and effective ways to present TAFEF’s work and initiatives to current and prospective members, whistleblowers, policymakers, and the general public. The right candidate will be an excellent communicator with a strong interest in the law and economic justice. The position is full-time and based in Washington D.C.

Public Interest Advocacy Fellow

This one- or two-year fellowship is an exceptional opportunity for a recent college graduate to acquire substantive legal writing and research experience. Most past Advocacy Fellows have enrolled in law school after completing the fellowship.

The fellow will work collaboratively with in-house and TAFEF member attorneys on research projects related to the qui tam provisions of the federal and state False Claims Acts, as well as the IRS, SEC, CFTC, and Motor Vehicle Safety whistleblower programs. The fellow will also assist with the drafting and publication of TAFEF’s bi-weekly legal case summaries and Quarterly Review legal journal. In addition, the fellow will be expected to assist with the composition of white papers and briefs, as well as the maintenance of TAFEF’s web content, including the drafting of blog posts and social media content.

Past fellows have gone on to enroll at Yale Law School, Northwestern School of Law, University of Texas School of Law, George Washington University Law School, Howard University School of Law, and Boston College Law School.  They are now excelling as students and as lawyers practicing at firms, in the government, and with non-profit organizations.
