We're making major real progress!
Thanks to past support of TAF and the TAF Education Fund, the False Claims Act has survived attacks in Congress and at the Supreme Court.
Over the course of the last 25 years we have successfully amended, strengthened, and expanded incentivized integrity programs.
Thanks to our good work, whistleblowers are paying substantially less taxes on their awards than they did 10 years ago, and whistleblowers and their lawyers are able to bring larger and better cases than ever before.
But our opposition is patient. Lobbyists for corporate fraudsters killed the False Claims Act in 1943, and they are waiting to do it again. That's why our work here in Washington will never be done and why we need to show that incentivized integrity programs are here to stay. That's the message we want to send to press, public, and politicians with the establishment of a Whistleblower Building in Washington, D.C.
The Whistleblower Building will house the TAF Education Fund and be a monument to whistleblower integrity and legal success.
The stylized graphic you see above shows the progress we are making towards our fundraising goal.
Gifts to TAFEF on behalf of The Whistleblower Building are tax deductible, and gifts will be escrowed into a dedicated account for the long-term support of the organization, but will otherwise not be restricted.
If you or your law firm would like to be a founding patron of the Whistleblower Building Fund, please let us know.
Help make a permanent mark in Washington in support of whistleblower laws through long-term support for TAF and the TAF Education Fund.
